HOW YOUR PAY IS CALCULATED
KDNB utilises Hastus for timetabling and scheduling and relies on MicrOpay for payroll processing. However, the two systems do not have organic integration. Added into the mix is manual override of late running and VOT journal changes.
Errors can happen during the process.
You are paid a minimum of Normal Hours : 80 or 72 per fortnight. 40 for 5 day week, 32 for a 4 day week. ADO or DOC are not included as Normal Hours.
Overtimes and Penalties are then calculated as Additions to your Normal Hours.
The total of your Normal Hours, RDO Pay (if applicable), and Additions to Normal Hours,
less Deductions and Tax is what you will be paid: Net Pay.
If you've been over or under paid it will show what, where and when the issue was.
